Giselle’s Restricted Micro debut. After a couple test session, Giselle demanded she was ready for her first Restricted Micro race. This is a big step from the JR Sprint, including a clutch and a different set of skills needed. The night started strong, qualifying 5th and going 3rd to 2nd in her heat. Lap 1 of the feature she made a mistake and spun. Restarted in the back and started picking off cars, throwing sliders and moving her way through traffic. Headed into the night I asked Giselle if she knew how to pass in the micros. Her response, “nah, I guess I’ll figure it out”. Apparently she figured it out and finished the night 6th.
