A solid night at Millbridge that was much needed. Last Tuesday was the first A main she has missed in over a year. The last few races Michael has just been chasing the setup and it was not clicking. Finally, things clicked on Tuesday. Giselle qualified 7th which lined her up on the pole in Heat 1. She held the top spot and won her heat. That win gave her the pole for the A-feature. From the drop of the green, you could tell the handle was off and Giselle lost the lead. She held onto second for a few laps and kept washing up the track, which made it difficult to hold her position. She settled into 5th and made some adjustments to her line that helped her maintain position. Really proud of how she adjusted to the handling issues. She was a little defeated because she felt if she figured out those adjustments earlier, maybe she could have finished better. Thank you Powermax Engines, Phantom Racing Chassis, Millbridge Print Shop and FloCoating. We will be back at Millbridge September 9th.
