Giselle’s confidence behind the wheel of the JR Sprint really showed tonight. Michael couldn’t quite dial in the perfect setup, but she took what she had and wheeled it to another 4th place finish. Starting 10th and finishing 4th seemed to be the theme of the week!

The goal for Hyper 600 Speedweeks: get Giselle more seat time and experience in the JR Sprint. After watching her drive tonight—mission accomplished. That girl drove it like she stole it.

Quick recap of the night:

Luck wasn’t on her side with the pill draw, starting 10th in the heat. She still drove up to 4th, despite some handling issues on corner exit. Michael made adjustments for the feature, and the car looked better. Once again, she lined up 10th, but quickly started picking off spots. After several cautions, she climbed to 6th and fought hard to grab 4th at the finish. That Powermax Engine shined in those final laps!

Huge thanks to Hyper Racing, Carber Racing, Powermax Engines, Millbridge Print Shop, and Flo Coating for their support.

Back to the Bridge next Monday and Tuesday for Kid’s Night!
